The Ivoirian Fair Trade Network (RICE) was created in July 2009 in accordance with Law No. 60-315 of 21 September 1960 governing associations in Côte d'Ivoire. It is the association of certified fair trade producer organizations in Ivory Coast. Côte d'Ivoire had nine (9) certified fair trade producer organizations when RICE was created. Today it has more than 120 of which fifty is actually active in the RICE.

Representing its members and carrying their voices wherever the interests of Ivory Coast's Fair Trade certified cooperatives and producers are discussed and / or discussed.
The effectiveness and interest of the capacity building strategy is based on the consideration of real needs, which the existing trainee has not given or has given few answers. This is why the actions proposed by the RICE favor as much as possible the exchange of experiences between the producers, the administrators and the staff of the POs.
Fair Trade is a big movement that aims to introduce more justice in international trade. It allows small producers in the South, like those in the CDI, to access a lucrative market and many other benefits.
